National Vending Day is a celebration for the millions of Americans who buy their snacks, beverages and non-consumable items from a vending machine every day.

Vending is the cornerstone of the conveniences services industry. With a total economic impact of more than $31 billion, the convenience services industry employs over 159,000 hard-working Americans, pays $9.4 billion in wages, and contributes $3.6 billion taxes at every level of government.

From traditional vending and micro markets, office coffee and pantry services, manufacturing, and small-drop distribution – unattended retail meets the needs of over 40 million American consumers daily at work, home, school, and play.

This year, NAMA is celebrating the future of vending and asking the industry to imagine what vending can do!

Those working in the convenience services industry are encouraged to use the hashtag #VendingDay to share pictures related to the theme on March 3. Each post is an entry in a random drawing for one full-access pass to The NAMA Show 2022, happening April 6-8 in Chicago, plus hotel accommodations for one night during the Show.
