Scott Berman of Canteen Named 2024 Coffee Legend of the Year

ARLINGTON, VA — The National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) has announced Scott Berman, senior vice president of Canteen, as the recipient of the 2024 Coffee Legend of the Year Award.

With over 40 years of dedication to the coffee industry, Scott Berman has consistently pushed the boundaries of innovation and service excellence. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in advancing the Office Coffee Services (OCS) sector. Known for his passion, innovation and mentorship, Berman has helped shape the industry’s growth and success. His work has been instrumental in pushing OCS to new heights and improving the experience for both operators and consumers alike.

Berman’s colleagues consistently refer to him as the “Coffee King,” a title he has earned through his commitment to excellence and his deep knowledge of the coffee service landscape. From early innovations in pantry service to his efforts in mentoring the next generation of industry leaders, Berman’s influence has been felt across the industry.
