CTW Is Evolving: More Year-Round Value for the OCS and Pantry Community

NAMA’s membership continues to shape the association’s priorities and how programs, resources and experiences are delivered.

Earlier this year, NAMA conducted an extensive review of CTW, including conversations with operators, suppliers, Board members, committee leaders and industry partners. The feedback was consistent: the industry’s needs are changing, and the way NAMA supports the OCS and pantry community should evolve with them.

Member feedback has shaped a new direction for CTW. In 2027, CTW will transition from a standalone event to year-round programming and resources designed to support the OCS and pantry community through education, training, connection and industry insights.

Beginning in 2027, members can expect:

  • An expanded presence at The NAMA Show, including a CTW Spotlight education track developed with the Coffee Services Committee, featuring dedicated programming and hands-on learning for the OCS and pantry community
  • More hands-on technical training, including support for technician and equipment training opportunities throughout the year
  • Year-round OCS and pantry resources, including a recurring CTW-branded quarterly digest featuring manufacturer training, selling resources, product trends and other relevant industry information
  • A long-term home at The NAMA Show, with OCS and pantry programming becoming an ongoing part of NAMA’s flagship event, including plans for a dedicated Coffee, Tea and Water presence on the exhibit floor beginning in 2028

The CTW name will continue as part of this work. It represents an important community within NAMA, and the goal is to build on that recognition while creating support that better reflects how members want to engage today.

Member input shaped this decision, and it will continue to shape what comes next. NAMA remains committed to listening, adapting and investing in the programs and experiences that deliver the greatest value to the OCS and pantry community.
